Tara Trepel (BA, MA, PGCE) and Melanie Mahon (BA, MEcon) met on their holistic journey, where they formed a strong bond through a shared passion for aromatherapy. This connection led to the creation of Sastun Aromatherapy, a truly special company.  After completing their ITEC qualification in Aromatherapy, Tara and Melanie continued to deepen their knowledge through ongoing research into essential oils. Their expertise has resulted in the development of bespoke aromatherapy blends, carefully crafted for their wide range of therapeutic and medicinal properties. They also hold qualifications in natural product formulation, ensuring that every product is created with integrity, care, and a deep respect for nature.  All Sastun Aromatherapy products are locally and sustainably sourced, organic where possible, and of the highest quality.

About Sastun Holistic Treatments

Tara Trepel (BA,MA,PGCE) previously lectured at the University of Westminster (London) in International Tourism, Business and Economics and prior to that, lectured at the César Ritz International Hotel Management College (Sydney).

Tara retrained over three years as a Yoga Teacher and Holistic Therapist — a path that has become her way of life. Her ITEC training spans anatomy and physiology, aromatherapy, a range of massage techniques, nutrition, and reflexology, allowing her to work intuitively and holistically with each individual client.

Tara’s true passion lies in Face Reflexology, a profoundly restorative treatment that supports both inner balance and outer radiance. She trained at the prestigious London School of Reflexology under world-renowned reflexologist Ziggie Bergman, whose pioneering techniques are celebrated internationally for their transformative effects.

Aromatherapy is another core passion and is seamlessly woven into Tara’s treatments. With a deep appreciation for the healing power of nature, she incorporates carefully selected essential oils to enhance relaxation, restore harmony, and support overall wellbeing.
